  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 pkg quick rise yeast
  • 1 Tbsp white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 + 1 cups flour
  • Optional: melted butter and sea salt

Preheat over to 400F.

Mix warm water, yeast, sugar and salt in a bowl. Give the yeast a moment to activate and then add in 1 cup of the flour, mixing until smooth. Then add in the second cup of flour and knead until you can create small soft balls.

Work each ball into strings, not too thin, and twist into a pretzel shape on a greased cookie sheet.

Bake in oven for 10 – 12 minutes or until light brown.

Brush with melted butter and sprinkle sea salt on the tops.
