It’s been so long since we’ve had fresh beans from the garden – time to get creative with a colourful salad!

Salad:

  • 1 tin green beans, drained
  • 1 tin waz beans, drained
  • 1 tin red kidney beans, drained
  • 1 tin lima beans, drained
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion rings
  • 1/4 cup green pepper, chopped

Dressing:

  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Pinch of garlic salt

Mix beans and veggies together and set aside.

Mix dressing together, pour over salad and toss to coat. Sprinkle with a pinch of garlic salt.
