This one will take you back! This shaped salad needs a few hours to chill, so plan ahead.

  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 cups finely chopped, cooked chicken
  • 3/4 cup salad dressing
  • 1 – 8oz pkg cream cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups finely chopped celery
  • 1 cup green grapes, cut in half
  • 1/4 cup Miracle Whip

Sprinkle lemon juice over apples. Add chicken, celery, grapes, salad dressing and seasonings. Mix lightly.

Press mixture into 1 1/2 quart bowl. Chill several hours. Unmold on serving platter.

Combine softened cream cheese and 1/4 cup Miracle Whip, mixing until well blended. ‘Frost’ the chicken salad mold with this mixture like a cake. Garnish with grapes and lemon slices.

Makes 8 servings.
