RECENT PROJECTS

The New Brunswick Women's Institute currently:

• Provides eight (8) different academic scholarships annually.
• Offers workshops on various topics such as family violence, women's rights, health education, family matters, safe water and the law, buy New Brunswick and wellness.
• As we have done in the past, supports our military personnel giving care packages to those serving oversea and lap rugs to wounded soldiers returning from recent conflicts.
• Maintains and operates the only WI Home in Canada.  It is located in Woodstock, N.B. and offers a cozy home atmosphere for senior women.
• Offers education to members during conventions and workshops at the district and provincial levels.
• Supports environmental projects throughout New Brunswick, such as Green-Up NB, Anti- Litter Inc. and Adopt-a-Highway.
• Supports, through Branches and Districts, a myriad of local charities and community projects.
